For Ultrasound Services

This Ultrasound is performed for entertainment purposes only. We will show you the details of your baby’s movements within a relaxed environment. Please be aware that this ultrasound session will not replace or satisfy questions about the well being of your baby.
Your baby’s images will be displayed for you and your family on a 75 inch TV screen. Select images will be printed and sent home with Mom and family. In addition, you give erception Plus Imaging Services permission to use certain images with the removal of identifiable personal information.
This ultrasound is performed as an elective ultrasound service, which means a diagnostic report will not be provided. You must have confirmation of pregnancy and it is recommended that you have seen your physician prior to this ultrasound appointment.
At Perception Plus we strive for excellence in ultrasound imaging. Factors such as the amount of amniotic fluid, stage in fetal development, fetal position, placental placement and maternal body habitus influence the clarity of ultrasound pictures. It is rare that you may need to return for additional imaging, but it may be a possibility when the baby needs to change position in order to be visualized . In cases of gender determination, ultrasound can not be 100% accurate and there is no warranty or guarantee of accuracy
While Ultrasound is believed to be safe for Mother and Fetus, adverse effects through research are presently unknown. A warm ultrasound gel will be applied to the abdominal area during the ultrasound scan. Images will be taken during the exam. No other recording devices will be allowed during the ultrasound session. This is a distraction to the technologist performing the ultrasound. Additional prints are available for purchase.
It is encouraged that you drink plenty of fluid to hydrate for your ultrasound, but it is not a requirement to have a full bladder. Sometimes eating something sugary, or with caffeine (without diet restrictions) a few minutes before your appointment can help the baby move and change position, therefore aid in optimal imaging.
You are allowed to bring up to 5 people for your ultrasound. Maximize on the fun time by bringing your family and friends.
You have no right of recourse against Perception Plus Imaging Services or your physician for any medical malpractice, professional negligence or any medically related claims arising out of this elective service. This includes any claims of injury, harm, loss and accurate determination of gender or any other characteristic.
Perception Plus Imaging Services will not be held accountable for any illness occurred before, during or after your appointment including Covid 19. Understand it is your responsibilty to use proper hygiene and provide your own mask.
